How you’ll make an impact as a CNA

• Work one-on-one with patients when and where they need the most help – in their home!
• Empower patients to live safely and productively in their home and complete the tasks they want to do and need to do every day

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide reminders and assistance with medication administration in accordance with the patient’s care plan and under the nurse’s guidance.
•  Monitor and record vital signs including temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and respiration to ensure the patient’s health and safety.
• Observe, record, and report the clients’ reaction to treatment and any changes in the clients’ condition
• Effectively communicate with the care team, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and supervisors, to report any concerns, updates, or changes in the patient’s status.

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• Previous experience in home care, long-term care, or a similar setting is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassionate and patient-oriented approach.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and adapt to changing client needs.
• Basic computer skills for documentation purposes.
• Must be physically capable of performing the duties required, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
